Charlotte Mothers of Multiples' Leadership

CMOMs thrives because of the tireless involvement and enthusiasm of its member volunteers! We staff over 40 Board positions, and the passion and commitment that our volunteers bring to each one is truly inspiring. We would not be the amazing club we are without these members' steadfast dedication! And each year we recognize our hardest working volunteers with the prestigious President's Award, given to those who have given to CMOMs over and above the call of duty!

Feel free to contact any of our Executive Board members for information about CMOMs!

Jamie Sunde

VP Member Support
Jamie has been a member of CMOMS since just before her two boys were born in June 2015. She began her involvement by co-leading District 4 before taking on the role of VP of Member Support.

Jamie is a North Carolina native, hailing from the outskirts of Raleigh, where she graduated from NC State with a BS in Biology. Now living in the Queen City since 2012, Jamie and her husband moved from California where she earned her MPH and MBA at Loma Linda University, where they lived and worked for several years. Jamie is an active member in the community volunteering in several different non-profits as well as promoting her own passion with literacy through Little Free Library projects throughout the city. By day, Jamie works at Carolinas HealthCare System supporting Community Health and Prevention Strategies in the Ambulatory Quality Division.

"I joined CMOMS because I had NO idea what I was getting into with having twins. I've found the most supportive friends who were 'in the trenches' and 'really get it' with twin babies, and as a result I've made great friendships and my boys have several same-age, twin playmates. I wanted to get involved and help with the success of such an amazing organization that does so much for the multiples' community."

Gillian Wooton

VP of Membership & Website Services
Gillian has participated in CMOMS since 2011 first as the Southpark/Ballantyne Working Mothers and now as the VP of Membership and Web Services. Gillian is originally from Scotland where she attended Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen and received her Business Studies degree. Since arriving in the US, she has worked at Deloitte Consulting, first as a Project Manager of SAP implementations and now as a leader in their Method and Tools group. (Don’t worry- her Mum and Dad still doesn’t know exactly what she does for a living either). Given that her family is still over in Scotland, Gillian spends a lot of time flying over with her husband Doug and her twins Ainsley and Brodie who were born in 2010 (and who now love airplanes).

“I joined CMOMS after my twins were born and quickly felt an integral part of a very special group who is focused on helping each other and their families navigate through the very unique experience of having multiples. What I quickly found is that with this support, bringing up multiples is no longer a minefield of unknowns. I’m also honored to be in a position to help others.
